CEF Coolah

Country Education Foundation of Coolah was established to provide much needed financial assistance and support youth who have completed their schooling in the Coolah district. By providing educational grants, we aim to help them achieve their post-high school education, training and vocation aspirations. CEF Coolah recognise that the cost of rural students pursuing higher education is often much greater than those of their metropolitan counterparts, and that sometimes these costs can be prohibitive.

CEF Coolah fundraises throughout the year and accepts donations from residents and businesses in order to provide financial grants to local students to support their educational journey. These grants are sourced directly from sponsorship and fundraising – not government funding – assisting these students with costs associated in achieving university and trade qualifications, and working to help them achieve these educational aspirations.

He was a soldier, a statesman, and a champion for rural and regional Australia. The Tim Fischer Fellowship honours his legacy by supporting those who are passionate about making a difference.

Earlier this month, on a chilly winter's evening, we joined our partner, @drewscollege at their Orange Regional Reunion, kindly hosted by @rosshillwines .

These events are powerful reminders of the strength of regional communities and the importance of creating pathways for regional students, especially as they relocate to metropolitan areas for the first time.

Thank you St Andrew's for a great evening and for your ongoing commitment to CEF and rural and regional youth.
