CEF Coolah fundraises throughout the year and accepts donations from residents and businesses in order to provide financial grants to local students to support their educational journey. These grants are sourced directly from sponsorship and fundraising – not government funding – assisting these students with costs associated in achieving university and trade qualifications, and working to help them achieve these educational aspirations.

Last week, our CEO, Wendy Mason, had the pleasure of attending the opening of the new Communication Precinct at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst. This facility will give communication students dynamic and hands-on learning experiences in journalism, podcasting, audio, television and media, marking the next chapter in the rich history of the School of Information & Communication Studies and creating the next generation of communication professionals.

With the recent passing of Terry Snow AM, @snowfoundation_au founder, we recognise and celebrate his deep commitment to supporting scholarships, recognising the role they play in helping rural and regional students achieve their educational goals.
And his legacy continues with Snow Foundation scholarships extended to students from Eurobodalla Shire in 2025 so more students from Southern NSW can make their educational dreams a reality.
